Competitive Salary & Incentives
Contec provides competitive market pay and annual incentives for certain positions. *Incentives are based on individual and company performance and are not guaranteed* This also includes a 5% shift premium for our off shifts.
Insurance Benefits
Contec offers an array of affordable benefits including medical (PPO), dental, vision, Rx coverage, short term disability, long term disability and life insurance. Employees are eligible the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. For example, our discounted "employee only" coverage for our medical PPO plan is less than $15 per pay period (biweekly).
We also offer two types of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) fundable with pre-tax dollars: 1) Medical Spending Account with a maximum contribution amount of $2,750 annually and a Dependent Care Spending Account with a maximum contribution amount of $5,000 annually.
401k
Contec offers 401(k) with a company match. We will match 100% up to 3% and then 50% of the next 2% deferred. Your safe harbor match is vested day 1 of eligibility. Rollover from other qualified plans are allowed, and catch-up contributions for participants 50 years and older are allowed.
Contec employees are eligible to participate in the plan if you 18 years of age or older and have completed 60 days of continuous employment.
Paid Time Off
Contec offers a bank of PTO that employees are allowed to use according to their specific needs: illness, vacation, or personal needs. During your first year of employment, you accrue PTO for time worked up to a max of 17 days or 136 hours, based upon their employment classification. Beginning the first full calendar year of employment, you are granted 17 days or 136 hours of PTO.
We also provide 10 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday; the holidays observed each calendar year are: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Contec believes firmly in giving back to our communities. To support this, we also offer employees up to 40 hours of paid time within a 12 month period for community service and educational organizations.
Tuition Reimbursement
Contec's Educational Expense Reimbursement Program is designed to help employees further their knowledge, skills, and job effectiveness through higher education in fields of interest to the company. This financial support is provided to eligible employees enrolling in college, university, and technical school courses to obtain an Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or technical degree.
Educational assistance may be reimbursed up to 50% of the tuition cost and 100% of the cost for books and lab fees upon satisfactory completion of the course. Individual course(s) that are part of a degree, licensing, or certification program related to employee's current job duties or future positions are also eligible for educational assistance.
Family Benefits
Contec recognizes that families are formed in many different ways. Contec offers an Adoption Assistance Program to help offset the costs associated with adopting a child. This program provides up to $10,000 per child with a lifetime maximum of $20,000. Contec also offers Infertility Treatment coverage through our medical PPO plan that provides up to a lifetime max of $10,000.
Regardless of how your family is created, Contec believes time with these newly formed families is important. Therefore, we provide paid Maternity and Parental Leave. Biological mothers are paid up to a maximum of 12 weeks through a combination of Short Term Disability and Maternity Leave. Fathers and non-birth mothers are paid up to a maximum of 4 weeks.
Onsite Amenities
Contec provides a variety of on-site amenities. We have an onsite gym at two of our facilities; one even including a Pickleball Court. We also offer an onsite health clinic for employees and spouses enrolled in our medical plan that provides acute care, health screenings, disease management and physician referrals. Contec also provides a canteen that offers fresh and frozen meals, as well as drinks and snacks.
Hybrid Work Options
Contec considers telecommuting to be a viable alternative work arrangement in instances where job duties can be accomplished remotely when the individual, job, and supervisor characteristics are best suited for such arrangement as well as based on department operations. This arrangement can be a hybrid, on an as-needed basis, or fully remote.
